Love this little girls room! I am mainly posting it for inspiration for Amy for Maddy's "big girl" room. I love how the fabric is draped over the bed! It makes such a statement. This room could be made to look a bit more modern depending on the colors and the fabric that is used! The pink with the orange is Fabulous and oh that chandelier! Love It!

Cheddar Chicken

I saw this recipe in the latest issue of Real Simple and am planning on making it this week. It looks very easy!!!

Serves 4 Hands-On Time: 15m Total Time: 45m

Ingredients

16 buttery crackers (such as Ritz), crushed (about 3⁄4 cup)
6 ounces sharp Cheddar, grated
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
kosher salt and black pepper
4 6-ounce boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
wild rice pilaf and steamed green beans (optional)

Directions

Heat oven to 350° F. In a bowl, combine the crackers, cheese, garlic, and ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper.
Dip the chicken in the butter, then in the cracker mixture, pressing gently to help it adhere, and place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle any remaining cracker mixture on the chicken and drizzle with any remaining butter. Bake until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with the pilaf and green beans, if using.

Today, Kris, me, Ty and Tucker went to Reimers Ranch Park off of Hamilton Pool Rd. We stopped at Bert and Ernie's to pick up some minnows then off we went. We took a picnic and the boys loved fishing and playing in the Pedernales River. It was gorgeous out and the water was beautiful! I love having together time with my boys!!!

This morning on my way to work, I stopped at Starbucks for a cup of coffee. As I was pulling through the drive-thru a lady in a truck cut me off. It was not a bad cut off and I really didn't think a thing about it. When I pulled up to the window, the man working handed me my coffee and Tucker his milk and said the lady in the truck in front of me had paid for mine because she was sorry that she cut me off! I was so surprised and gave her a big thank you wave. What a easy and great way to show that you care!!! And, I do believe that the more you give, the more you will have!!!

I have been cleaning and organizing my cabinet in my office. I am pleased with how it is turning out and I still have some more to do. I purchased the white boxes at IKEA and they were very inexpensive. They are working out great for storing sewing supplies, scrap booking supplies and misc. things. I have put all of my fabric in containers in the closet!
